It might be possible to stop taking a chemical diuretic and find a natural one, like cucumber, celery or lettuce.
Tonic water contains quinine, which may help you. Drink a glass.

When you wake up with a cramp, place the spoon on the painful area and the muscle should un-cramp.
Try a tincture of Cramp bark - it is good for any sort of cramping. Take one to two teaspoons, 3 to 5 times a day.
Another remedy for night cramps is this combination - 1 tablespoon of calcium lactate, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of honey in half a glass of warm water. This should relieve the cramps within 20 minutes.
Take 2 teaspoons of honey at each meal, or honey combines with 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before each meal.
An exercise to improve blood circulation and help prevent muscle cramps: Before you get out of bed, turn yourself around so you can put your feet against the wall, higher than your body, staying in that position for 10 minutes. Repeat this exercise before you go to sleep.
Vitamin E is reported to be helpful in relieving cramps in the legs. Take it before each meal. You should feel a positive difference within a week or two.
A rocking chair can be used as therapy. Rock whenever you watch TV, and for about an hour before bedtime. Rocking may prevent varicose veins and blood clots, improve circulation and relieve leg cramps.
