Reaching My Fitness Goals

I've always been fat but I never really felt fat. In my mind, I was just temporary being held captive by a body that didn't really represent how I felt inside. It's been 34 years of feeling like this and I finally give in, I am just another fat person who lacks the motivation and discipline to lose weight.

I've tried so many diets and have started so many health kicks but I always quit. My biggest issue is that I am not consistent in my efforts. I might go a week then I won't exercise again.

I bet this is a problem that most fat people have. We can't reach our fitness goals because we aren't consistent in our efforts.

The average fat person has a wealth of information on losing weight but they can never consistently put it into action. I probably know more about fitness than the average personal trainer.

If I could ever become discipline, I could lose all this ugly weight that I've been carrying around for more than 30 years. I am so ready to get rid of it. It holds me down and it makes me feels sick.

Being fat has really ruined my life. It has caused me to never have a girlfriend. Yes, I have kissed women and have had sex but I have never had a girlfriend. I've never wanted to date women in my league and I don't want a fat girl.

Most of the women I want don't want me so I rather stay alone. There have been a few times when an attractive girl has liked me but I never pursued it because I didn't think I was worthy. It's hard trying to start or be in a relationship when you feel bad about yourself.

I wonder how common is my experience: people avoiding relationships because they feel ashamed of who they are. I don't even have any pictures on facebook because I hate what I look like.

The only picture I have is a picture of my face. I have had girls who like my face pics on social media ask for more pics. Imagine how much of a loser I feel like when that happens.

It happens much more than I like and it has been an ongoing problem for too many year. I am ready to make a change.

Do you see why I must lose weight and improve my fitness? I haven't even lived a complete life. There are 15 year old's with more dating experience with me.

I feel like I've missed out on all the things that people experienced as teenagers and as colleges students. I am stuck with this life and with this body until I can find the discipline to force myself to do the right things.

I know that these posts are suppose to be motivated but I don't care this is my horrible life and I know others share the same experience that I have.

The Best Ways To Lose Those Love Handles

Love handles can seem impossible to get rid of. No matter how much you work out, it feels as though the flab around your abdomen will never go away. Thankfully, there are some exercises that will target that pesky problem area and make your love handles go bye-bye.



Cardio is key when it comes to eliminating love handles. You need to be focusing specifically on boosting your heart rate for at least three 30 minute periods a week. Riding a bike or taking a spin class can be particularly effective. Your goal should be to perform exercises that burn calories and fat along with exercises that will help tone your body.



Sit-ups focus on stomach muscles, but they'll help you take care of your love handles as well. Twisting sit-ups work wonders. Start by sitting on the floor while bending your knees. Anchor your feet beneath something sturdy, and cross your arms over your chest.

With abdominal muscles contracted, begin to twist your torso from side to side while lowering your back to the floor. Once you reach the floor, do the same thing while coming back up.

Twisting sit-ups aren't the only form of sit-ups that can get results. Working with a stability ball or performing elbow to knee sit-ups can also get your body into shape.

Elbow to knee sit-ups involve rising up from the floor, and having your elbow touch the knee on the opposite site as you rise.

You may also want to try reverse sit-ups. They won't do as much to make your love handles disappear, but they will help strengthen your lower back, which will improve the appearance of that area.

To perform a reverse sit-up, lie on your floor with your body in a "t" shape. Lift up your legs, bending your knees 90 degrees. Pull them into your chest while moving your upper body as little as possible.

Crunches and cardio aren't your only options. You can also try working on your back and shoulder with dumbbells or performing reverse lunges. Push-ups and side ups can also be a big help.

You may find that you make more progress when you try a variety of exercises instead of just sticking to one thing.

Don't forget that you'll need to make some changes to your diet as well. Do your best to cut out bad fats, drink more water, and eat less processed foods. Focus on adding lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables to your diet.

If you don't have the time to cook healthy meals, you may want to invest in a slow cooker. It can be an easy way to cook up some chicken and vegetables on a busy day.

If you put the effort into exercising and eating right, your love handles will be the thing of the past. There's no easy fix for love handles, but they can definitely be taken care of with some hard work.

You'll definitely be glad you fought back against love handles when you take your next trip to the beach.

That means learning how to correctly read food labels as well as understanding the sugar found in many ingredients in your favorite recipes or restaurant meals. You’ll focus your meal plans on foods such as meat and seafood.

You can have eggs, since these have fewer than 1 carb. You can also eat non-starchy vegetables and certain nuts and seeds. By the time you’re finished with the diet, you’ll learn how to make better food choices.

A mistake to watch out for is hidden sugar in condiments. A tablespoon of ketchup can contain almost 4 grams and most people eat way more than just a tablespoon. You’ll also want to watch your wine consumption, since some of these can contain a lot of sugar.
