In some cases you can do it without medication or without some tricky diets. Just make a few changes in your life and you can get rid of that pesky problem.

First things first, change the way you eat. I'm not saying you have to stop eating everything you love; you just need to cut back on some of those things. For instance, stop using butter when preparing meals. That little bit of advice can make a huge amount difference over time.

Cut out or cut down on sodium. This is a problem that many people don’t even know they can control. The thing is, its really easy to do. simply start adding other healthy spices for flavor and leave out the salt.

One little thing that a person can do is cut back or cut out soft drinks, people do not realize how much sodium is in a soft drink. Stop and think about it, "How many soft drinks do I drink every day?"

Salt, salt, salt, this may be a hard one to cut out. However if people can cut back or cut out the salt intake, it could make a major difference in a very short period of time. There are substitutes out there for salt, this way people want lose that flavor in some of their favorite food.

Eating fruit is a great natural way to lower your blood pressure. Instead of eating chips or candy for a snack try an apple. Add fruit to every meal you have and I promise you, you will not only see a difference in your blood pressure, you will see a difference in a way you feel. Fruit is not only better for you; it's also cheaper as well.

I know people aren’t going to like this one but it may be the best way. That is exercise, if you are walking twenty minutes a day or doing a high cardio workout, it doesn’t matter you are moving,

Now you are getting your heart pumping and the blood flowing through your veins. This may be the most important part of getting your blood pressure lowered. Not to mention all the other healthy things that it does for your body.

Now that you know a few things you can do naturally to get your blood pressure down. All that is left for you to do is to make up your mind you're going to do it and nobody is going to stand in your way. Your life is your own hands, what are you going to do with it?
