Contradictory information

I am referring to the following web link.

This article contradicts itself. Here are two lines taken from the article.

-From a nutritional perspective, avoiding dairy products is recommended as they can aggravate the situation.

-Milk, cream, butter, fruits and fresh, raw and boiled vegetables and natural foods are the best diet for an ulcer patient.

So which is it? Dairy or no dairy?
This negates the credibility of the whole article.

It is a grey area for peptic ulcers

I know what you refer to... it is difficult as the site tries to include all and every helpful advice and popular natural remedies that are talked about, so deciding to cut a recommendation when there is a cross-over can be problematic.

Sometimes the differences are due to the pages featuring both modern Western medical treatment recommendations, as well as the traditional Eastern and Ayurveda Therapy, so they sometimes cross over a bit.

So on some pages you will need to weigh up the information and decide for yourself how the pros and cons stack up on the page in total - for a particular health self help strategy.

In this particular case I personally chose to continue including dairy products in my diet as they are a core of my daily meals, and I believe that the more natural and unprocessed the products are (I have access to organic raw goats milk), the better for your digestive system.

But I do bear in mind that along with the other steps that I follow (especially drinking a gallon of aloe juice every month) I need to monitor if I do get flare ups, could they have been triggered by any dairy products that day?

I have cut back on the amounts of daily diary products as a safe precaution, and I am mindful to not take it excessively, nothing like the amounts I used to, for sure!
