You may have come to this site looking to learn more about your health concerns, or answers to your energy or weight problems or maybe just looking for a way to create income by helping us to help people with their health.
What ever brings you here you are, as I said, welcome.
First of all I would like to introduce myself! My name is Joan Martin I live in rural Australia in the Central Goldfields. I have spent the past few years living on a farm and working hard, as only farming families must do.
Half way through 2004, I had been feeling run down, tired, depressed and just plain fat, so, I decided to lose some weight, hoping it might make me feel a bit better about myself. It would take forever to get the strength to get out of bed, and half the morning before my joints seemed to free up. I was feeling very old and depressed!
A friend suggested I use the Herbalife products because they had had such great results themselves. I was pretty skeptical, because nothing else seemed to be working.
Well what a surprise… Not only did I go on to lose 11kgs over the next couple of months, but all my joint pain disappeared along with my headaches, my energy increased dramatically, my whole attitude to life changed for the better, and I do not need medication to control the depression I once had.
Even my skin improved, so I decided to attend a few trainings to see why everything worked so well, and the health results I saw were wonderful. Lots, like my own, even being life changing.
Oh, by the way. I can’t believe that even my over active thyroid is under control without medication!
Getting to the point here… I had been wondering about what part time work I might be able to get at my age, as I don’t want to be on Welfare.
So then I decided… “What a wonderful way to earn a living, while helping other people feel as good as I do, by becoming a Nutritional Consultant.”
Actually, it seemed almost immoral not too.
I quickly achieved the position of Supervisor, and it has all been very exciting since.
I was even able to get myself a beautiful Mercedes Benz car, which besides being a dream to drive, has helped massively with my self-worth and independence.
Not only that, but I went to my local Dentist in 2006, and we got chatting, and at the age of 59 I was offered a job as a Dental Nurse, which I had been trained for and loved doing when I was younger.
The Dentist could not believe my attitude and energy levels. Several of the staff now use the products, all based on wanting to be as energetic and happy as I am.
The 2 positions go very well together and I am doing the 2 things in life that I love most... Helping people with their health (like my friend helped me), and my Dental Nursing.
Now at 61, I am loving life more than ever, and experiencing a Quality of Life that I thought had long disappeared with age. I can outlast most of the young ones on the dance floor, ride my mountain bike, bush walk, love my swimming etc etc... I am just SO happy!
