An overview of chronic fatigue syndrome
You can defeat tiredness by simply getting more sleep. However, exhaustion is a condition that cannot be alleviated by more sleep.
Apathy is a disorder that is dissimilar to drowsiness or exhaustion because the victim ceases caring about the things around them.
However, drowsiness, exhaustion, and apathy are all signs of fatigue.
When one is experiencing low energy, drowsiness and lethargy, they are suffering from fatigue. These signs should not be ignored because they could be an indication that you have chronic
These symptoms need to be addressed to make sure there are not other health problems that need medical assistance. For instance, fatigue can be a sign of a thyroid condition. Or, you could
be suffering from depression, which is not the same as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, but also shares the symptoms of exhaustion and diminished energy.
There are other diseases that display the same symptoms, such as Addison's disease, arthritis, cancer, congestive heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, lupus, malnutrition, and eating
disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Before starting any treatment, an adequate diagnosis must be obtained from a medical provider to insure that you are treating the correct condition.
The signs exhibited from these other diseases are not quite like those of chronic fatigue syndrome, which is typically caused by unhealthy and stressful lifestyles.
There are two classifications of symptoms attributable to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, physical and psychological, and they include:
- Sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy and other sleep conditions
- Hay fever or asthma
- Under active thyroid
- Low iron
- Habitual use of alcohol or illegal drugs
- Constant pain
- Sorrow and gloominess
Many of the signs of chronic fatigue can be treated through home care therapies. The first thing needed is normal rest and plenty of
it. Another basic treatment is changing your diet to a healthier, better balanced diet, including the recommended amount of water.
Believe it or not, exercising daily will increase your energy level. Plain jogging, and walking, can calm you down. To circumvent tiring easily and quickly, you should keep a practical work and
personal schedule. Decreasing or at least maintaining your stress level will alleviate the signs, too.
Another way to reduce stress is to take time off from those things that stress you out. Evading activities that cause your stress, calmly managing your relationship issues, and taking multivitamins are easy methods of preventing chronic fatigue symptoms.
Abstaining from an excess of alcohol, caffeine, drugs and nicotine, as well as staying away from too many night time leisure interests, will help you prevent chronic fatigue symptoms.
While many people think about medication, there are natural or alternative therapies to assist with the situation.
Nutrition supplementation can have a huge impact on your overall condition and often assist with the way you are feeling within a very short time.
Reflexology massage is one of the many alternatives out there. It increases
blood circulation, and helps get you on the road to relaxation.
Acupuncture is another alternative therapy, but is best suited to those who are a tad more adventurous. Acupuncture improves mental and physical might, which is a fantastic avenue of therapy to avoid chronic fatigue syndrome.
Meditation is another wonderful natural therapy to help you gain inner peace.
The last natural remedy I will mention is aromatherapy, which uses your sense of smell to quickly relax you after a long day of stressful situations.
All of the alternative therapies I mentioned are supposed to calm you; but if the malady is not chronic fatigue syndrome, you should consult your doctor before participating in any of these natural medications.
