How do we build international business?


Through the information you have been reviewing I’ve talked about Herbalife being a world wide business. I’ve given the impression that you can sit there in your own living room and build a global structure, beginning with a little IBP (International Business Pack).

Talk is cheap. It’s time for me to actually explain how this all works.

I will spend a little time here and explain this as clearly as I can. That means, as always, I am probably talking too much but I want you to really understand just what you can do working with Herbalife, both right there where you live and across the entire world.


Global Market

Herbalife has one global market and you can work anywhere you like.

World The individual distributors do not have territories or areas. There are no restrictive trade rules.

I’ve been in Herbalife for a long time and have customers and distributors in my little country town.

If you know someone who lives in my town you can contact them and tell them your story.

If they want to buy product or sign up to work with us then you sell them the product or you recruit them yourself.

You do not need to have any contact with me because, even though I am established here, I have no control of the market. It’s a global business and you can do business anywhere.

This actually makes sense because I will only have contact with some of the people in the area. Just recently one of my distributors who joined me in the very beginning and who I have been working with ever since, David Exon, signed up a new distributor in America. They live in Los Angeles, the home of Herbalife. What’s more, they live one kilometer from the Herbalife head office.

They had never heard of Herbalife.

We have been in that town for decades and they had never heard of Herbalife!

This is a very common experience. Herbalife is the largest direct sale health and nutrition company in the world and even in their home city most people cannot even tell you what products Herbalife deal in.

Herbalife is very solid but even so, it is a ground floor opportunity.

This is why the company keeps everything open. If you want to work, they want to support you. Herbalife needs good people to get the message of the products out to the public.


Who do you know?

Who do you know anywhere in the world?

The little country town I live in is down on the bottom of the world, in Australia.

My wife though was born in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in India and only came here when she was 12 years old. many

Do you have family overseas?

Do you know any one who has family overseas?

If you want to talk to your next door neighbour over the back fence, that’s fine.

If you have a mate who is across the country then you can call them up and tell them what has happened to you when you've used our products.

If your mate (let’s imagine she is a lady) who's across the country wants to buy some products or to register as a distributor to join you so you can work together then that’s great.

You can take payment from her. A lot of people are using Pay Pal as people can use their credit cards with them and they know it’s secure. She can send you a cheque or put money into your bank account or use the Post Office to send a COD order, whatever you like.

You then ring Herbalife and order the stock, pay for it, and they process the order.

The order is passed through the Herbalife computers and printed out at the nearest Herbalife shipping center. They pick and pack the order and give it to a courier who takes it to your friend’s door and delivers it.

Every order in every country has a small freight and handling charge already built into it and that fee covers it being delivered to your friend. (The freight and handling is listed separately on the order but it is bundled together so that it is covered already when we quote the sale price).

This is fairly simple.

Depending on how close your friend is to a shipping center the order may be delivered overnight or it may take a few days to get there but Herbalife is very efficient in getting stock out to people, they send Billions of dollars of stock every year.

If this is a retail sale then you tell Herbalife to send the paperwork to you and your customer never sees the invoice for the wholesale amount.

This is a simple system that works well.


International shipping.

delivery That is good around your country but what about when it is going to someone really far away.

Imagine your friend had moved to the south of France or to Malaysia or to Argentina. Then what?

Then it works in exactly the same way.

You can ring the Order Dept of Herbalife in your home area and the same process takes place.

The order is picked and packed and delivered to your friend at her home, or flat, or office.

Simple.


Let’s talk delivery costs though.

With these international orders like, for example, if you wanted an IBP shipped to your friend at an ashram in Dehra Dun up in the Himalayan mountains.

We need to be very clear about what it costs you to do that in addition to the normal freight and handling of all orders.

The additional cost is nothing.

You are looking to join a truly Global business.

The couple of dollars built into all orders as freight and handling cover delivery of the products to your customer anywhere in the world.

With your computer and access to a website, maybe like this one, you can tell your story anywhere and when people want to join you then you have a global company who will deliver the products to any country we trade in.


Sit for a minute and this about what this global muscle means in building a business.

Remember that when you build a business around the world and go to visit it then the travel can potentially be a business expense.


Recruiting Internationally and earning international income.

When you recruit a distributor to work with you in another country they will be supported by the materials in their IBP, by Herbalife in their country, by local meetings, and by you.

That is why I built this site for us so that we have another tool in my distributorship to support our people.

When your friend is registered with Herbalife then she can order her products directly from Herbalife in her own country.

Herbalife tacks every single order and records the Distributor Identification Number of the person ordering, the date and time, the products ordered, the volume Points, the discount on the order, the sponsoring supervisor, and the money spent.

The computers then match her number and your number and record the transaction.

When you are supervisor and receiving wholesale profit then they gather your profit on each order, also any royalty payments and other bonuses, and on the 15th of the following month they send you a cheque or deposit the money in your bank, whichever you have arranged.

You do not even have to know the order has been placed on the warehouse, you still get paid.

The general rule is that Herbalife send the money from business done in your own country in your local currency.

They send the money from international business in US dollars so that you are not getting little bits and pieces from a whole lot of different counties. This is a lot easier when you are going to bank the cheques.

Out of interest, in India where the currency is not traded on the open market, the foreign business is still pain in US Dollars. It is a delightful way to earn foreign currency.


How do Herbalife track business is so many countries and so many different currencies? currency

How do you compare the sale of something in Sydney, Australia with the sale of the same item in New York, Paris, Rome in Europe or Lusaka in Zambia?? Dollars, Euros, Kwacha???

Herbalife place a “Herbalife Currency” value on each product called a Volume Point.

If a specific product is 20 volume points in USA then it will also be 20 volume points in Argentina and Australia and Botswana.

The price of the goods and the currency it is sold in change in the different markets but the volume points are always the same.

Herbalife base every qualification level on volume points so you can do some of the volume at home, some with a friend across the country, some in Chile, some in Singapore and some in Japan. It makes no difference to Herbalife, all business in any country in the world is counted together.

Their computers then sort out the maths to convert volume points in to dollars in your cheque and the cheque is accompanied with a printout that lists the details of every order placed with Herbalife by any of your distributors, anywhere in the world.

Regional Restrictions.

I will mention in passing that there are some countries where you can not go in and work.

These are the Non-Open countries where Herbalife is not yet registered and doing business. If you trade in a country where Herbalife has not officially opened and Herbalife find out about it then they will cancel your distributorship.


There are also a few countries scattered around the world where their local laws say you, being a foreigner, cannot set up and do any sort of retail business

In those countries you are free to recruit distributors and build distribution but you may not be able to personally do retail business.

Some of these countries are in Asia with places like Thailand, or India. The same applies in South Africa and Turkey and a few other countries around the world.

Countries like the USA and all of the European Union and the majority of other countries are open for business for retail sales as well as building business.

It is not a major problem but you are here doing your “Due Diligence” to see if you wish to work with us and it is important that you get full information and that what you see now is exactly the same information as when you are registered and we are working together.


Summary

Herbalife is a truly global business. hands

I build a Millionaire Team distributorship in my little town of 8,000 people which was enough so that I did not need any other source of income.

While I only talked to people locally to so that I still found I was being paid out of half a dozen countries.

The key to get a Herbalife business up and running is to “Think Globally and to Work Locally”.

The systems are in place so that you do not need to leave your home to build business with us all over the world.
